A power failure at work took down my chance to post about what I think is going to happen in the semis of Euro 2004. I feel like Portugal won’t be able to sneak past Holland quite like they did against England–and it was a sneaking. Too bad, as I could easily root for Portugal on Sunday. But then they’d get ruined by the Czech Republic. That’s right, the next game, like the Olympics, will be a disaster. But at least it won’t have a body count.

I suppose Holland then wins it?

And the Red Sox are terrible. I’m going to try and not watch any baseball all weekend. I have earned it.

  1. So is the Porto/Greece final a way for the Junta to fix a rematch so that a second Greek win in the rematch will bring up goodwill for the Athens olympik games? Methinks something is rotten in Luz.

I don’t know who to root for, again. The Greeks are a bit to swarthy for me I still think they’ve gotten insanely lucky, but then again I’ve been deading Portugal all tourny long so it seems hypocritical to go with them now. Either way, who knows who’ll win this one?
