1. Is 12:45am too late in the night to start watching a movie from India? I think yes, but that’s what the pause button is for.
2. The dialogue from the final scene of last week’s The O. C. has been transcribed by me. Basically, here’s the part that made me sob:
SUMMER: Cohen?
SETH: Summer?
SUMMER: Oh, my…
SETH: What are you doing here?
SUMMER: What do you think, Cohen?
The reserved and slightly defeated way Bilson delivers that last line just kills me—it’s in part exasperated that Seth is still playing a sort of game, but it’s also an invitation to self-negation. She’s giving it (something) up for Seth, and that’s a little sad. But it’s also achingly hot. For romantix like me, I guess.

Yes. I don’t even know what to say in response to your choosing Making the Band 3 instead.

Dammit, I knew I should have watched this last week instead of (and I can’t believe I’m going to admit this) “Making The Band 3″.

“Making the Band 3″ is almost as shameless and shameful as “Making
the Band 2.” It really shows how desperate Diddy is. That said, maybe
I need to start watching to old “O.C.” I need some romance in my life.

Damn, I even have to see some old O. C.s. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the first four or so episodes. This season, despite the hate, has been far superior, but it’s useful to watch the first season in how it’s useful (but not always necessary) to read the first half of a novel.
