“Our leader, ich kann gehen!”

Word on the street is that there are billboards featuring Mr. Bush’s grinning visage and the huge legend “Our Leader” popping up on ClearChannel-owned stands around the nation. That’s fantastic. And so familiar. (No, not a link to Germany/Italy/New Oceania in the ’30s/’80s.)

    Is it true that electronic voting machines were rigged in the recent election? I have a hippy acquaintance that insists there was widespread fraud and conspiratorial media silence on the issue. I would call the Rove doctrine itself fraud but I am wondering if there is any validity to the electronic vote machine theory.

    I think the general response is:

    Messy election, yes. Messy enough to overturn? Probably not. What do we have, a functional and strong Supreme Court? To have that, we’d be, like, Ukrainians.
