First, the shocker. Seth Cohen lost his virginity to “Hello Sunshine” by the Super Furry Animals. Then, when he fumbled around with Summer again, same song. I’m not sure how appropriate this is, but, well, it was a funny development. But it’s better than the plodding, “sweet” Ryan Adams version of “Wonderwall” that I think Steve plays on iTunes at least once a day.

Now, I’m trying to do some math here: Luke has slept with Marissa and her mom. Who’s next, Caitlin? Now, Marissa’s mom, Julie, has slept with Caleb and with Jimmy. Jimmy has slept with Kirsten, who is Caleb’s daughter. He is now trying to sleep with Kirsten’s sister. Intergenerational romance just makes television shows amazing. And, this sets up the stage for my later opus to be featured on this site on the demarcation of metempsychotic issues of love and reality negotiation introduced in the intergenerational relationships in Lost in Translation, Beautiful Girls, and Rouge.
